Goody Quickstyle Hair Brush

I received a Good Quick Style Hair Brush in my Holiday Vox Box from Influenster at no charge for review purposes. 

Upon receiving my NEW Holiday Vox Box I was pretty excited! Wouldn't you be? A box just for you full of free goodies? I adore Influenster and love that they keep sending me all these goodies.

 Inside my box was a whole kit & kaboodle of goodies. One of these goodies I had been eyeballing in the store and just hadn't had the nerve to buy it yet. The Goody Quick Style Hair Brush.

While to be honest, I thought "oh dear microfiber and my hair might not mesh well, this will be a disaster!" in all reality it went over just fine! I put it to use that very next day shortly after I showered, when my hair was still nice and wet. It worked just as the website describes. It dried my hair quicker and made styling much easier.

To really put it to the test, I used it on my daughter's hair. The Princess rarely sits still for styling, so she runs around with her hair down or just thrown into a ponytail. I wish I had taken a picture of this day though. She looked gorgeous, had her hair dried and styled in no time. I was impressed!

To conclude, I highly recommend this hair brush to anyone who normally has a hard time styling, the microfiber pieces help greatly and make things much easier for you!

Not Your Mother's Kinky Curls Cream

I was given a sample of "Not Your Mother's Kinky Curls" hair cream to try out by Influenster.

First off, you should know, it's been a LONG time since I nurtured my curls. I generally straighten them out & go on about my day as a straight as a rail blonde. But given the opportunity to try something new for my crazy curls I was excited. I wanted to "embrace" the true Me. 

I had it all planned out, I had a doctor appointment that day and I was going to try it to see if anyone had any criticism to lay on me.

I applied the cream as directed on the back of the bottle, and allowed my hair to air dry since it curls better that way naturally. I waited to see if anyone (including my husband) had anything to say. 

"Oh that looks cute! You curled your hair today!" 

"Looks good, you should wear it that way more often"

and my husband (God love him) "You didn't put enough of that in your hair, it's kind of flattening out a little bit" 

He's a butt. I love him anyway.

He was right, perhaps I didn't put enough in it? Either way- I loved it! My hair wasn't frizzy, it had just enough bounce to it and my hair didn't feel greasy or crunchy during or after the day.

Goody Spin Pin is "Goody" in my Book

Thanks to Influenster I was sent the "Beauty Vox Box" and inside was a whole pack of goodies for me to test out. One of these goodies was the "Goody Spin Pin" for my hair. 

It looks funky but in all reality this thing was AWESOME! 

I wore this in my hair on Halloween night with my hair half down and the other half was up in a twisted bun. I wasn't sure how long it would stay up but honestly I was impressed. The bun didn't move or unravel until my husband started to mess with it. (men!)

This pin was easy to use and I honestly loved them. No hair ties or rubber bands were stuck in my hair for me to fight with at the end. This was easy to use and easy to remove without any tangles. 

I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new in their hair. If you're tired of the normal and boring tis is for you!
